Things are hotting up at Baking Week

Our Baking Week promotion is in full swing and Catermasters customers across the country are enjoying an assortment of tasty breads, cakes, biscuits and buns that we're lovingly baking in our kitchens.

Our baking skills are the stuff of legend so we decided to wow our customers by baking lots of treats for them this week. All of our client sites are taking part in the promotion and we're donating a percentage of our takings to the Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital charity.

The Baking Week offering at our Oxford University Press site proved particularly popular today, with many staff buying both savoury and sweet snacks.

Shereen Karmali bought one of our delicious homemade lemon slices to enjoy with a cup of tea.

She said: "I like to do a bit of baking at home, but it's lovely to come to work and have someone else do it for you. The selection of treats here today has looked magnificent and I know my lemon slice will taste great because they clearly have some talented bakers in this kitchen."

Paul Marr, meanwhile, bought a tasty round loaf to take home to his family. "It's nice to have a treat occasionally and I know that this loaf will taste much better than anything I could buy in a supermarket. It's real rustic bread and I love that," he said.
